"I will meditate on your precepts and consider your ways." - Psalms 119;15
"Be still and know that I am God."- Psalms 46:10
You will receive the same wonderful benefits of yoga which include strength building, flexibility, stress relief, and weight loss. What is different between Christian yoga and traditional yoga is the emphasize on scripture and glorifying God in our bodies as well as our minds. As we move from one pose to another we'll meditate on the love, joy, wisdom, and goodness of God. As we learn to quiet our minds and open our hearts to God, His love, joy, and presence will begin to expand in every area of our life.
"And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." -
