Prayer for the Christian Home

”Dear Father,

By wisdom may our home be built, and help it to be established through understanding. Through knowledge, may the rooms of our home be filled with precious and pleasant treasures. (Proverbs 24:3,4)

Help our family members to make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. (Romans 14:19)

Help us to live in harmony with each other. May we be sympathetic, loving, compassionate, and humble. (1 Peter 3:8)

How good and pleasant it is when we live together in unity. Please bestow your blessing on our family. (Psalm 133:1,3)

Help us to bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances we may have against one another. May we forgive as you have forgiven us. (Colossians 3:13)

And over all of these virtues may we put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. (Colossians 3:14)

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord! (Joshua 24:15)
