The world is a noisy place. So are our minds. Like Martha in Luke 10:38-42, we are "distracted, worried and upset about many things". But Jesus calls us to sit down and quietly listen to Him as Mary did, Martha's sister. This is a challenge for many modern day believers.
Many find it difficult to hear the voice of their Lord and often forfeit time with Him for daily demands. But God says in His Word that He longs to be with us. Jesus waits for us to come and sit with Him and learn from Him.
